Kindergarten Registration Process
A child must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2025 to attend kindergarten.
The enrolling parent and rising kindergarten student are the ONLY ones who need to attend. Due to limited space, parents are asked not to bring siblings. While here, your child will have the opportunity to work with one of our staff members on the Kindergarten Readiness Entry Profile. We look forward to serving you.
Step 1: Complete the GCPS Online Registration.
Visit the GCPS Online Registration Homepage to get started. Whether you’re new to GCPS or have another child already enrolled, follow the appropriate link to create or use your existing ParentVue account.
Step 2: Upload all required documents.
Step 3: Bring your rising Kindergarten student and all necessary documentation to Kindergarten Registration on April 15, 2025 at 9:00am.
